'Flower and Letter' Drabble Challenge.
Chandi has finally taken the time to say farewell to a former lover by sending a letter.
To say his unexpected message had bowled me over would be an understatement. I sat there gazing at the flower in my hand, remembering my grievous error of a few years past which had resulted in us going our separate ways. I’d realized too late just how much I loved him.
His note that I’d let flutter to the floor, had doused any remaining spark of hope that someday we would be reunited.
Thank you for starting me on the road of self-learning. Thank you, Joseph, for setting me free to find my true love, my soul-mate, my life-partner.
